1. General Provisions
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the University of Economics – Varna (hereinafter "the Organizer") and users of the online platform for scientific conference registration (hereinafter "the Platform"). By creating an account and using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms.
2. Registration and Account
To use the Platform, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities carried out through your account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
3. Use of the Platform
The Platform enables registration for scientific conferences organized by UE – Varna, uploading of papers, and management of your registrations. You agree to use the Platform in good faith and not to misuse it in any way, including but not limited to: providing false information, attempting unauthorized access, disrupting system operations, or using the Platform for unlawful purposes.
4. Conference Registration
Registration for a specific conference edition is only possible within the announced registration period. The Organizer reserves the right to approve or reject registrations in accordance with the rules of the respective conference. Uploaded papers are subject to approval by the organizing committee.
5. Personal Data Protection
The personal data you provide during registration is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Bulgarian legislation. The data is used solely for the purposes of organizing and conducting conferences. You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, as well as the right to object to its processing.
6. Intellectual Property
The content of the Platform – texts, graphics, logo, and design – is copyrighted and belongs to UE – Varna. Papers uploaded by you remain your intellectual property, but you grant the Organizer the right to publish and distribute them within the scope of the respective conference.
7. Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Organizer is not liable for temporary unavailability of the system, data loss, or other indirect damages arising from the use of the Platform. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time without prior notice.
8. Changes to the Terms
The Organizer reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The current version is published on the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform after the terms have been changed, you accept the updated version.
